DBSA will offer free live support groups on ShareWell, joining PSI in expanding access to online peer support nationwide.
SAN FRANCISCO, CA, UNITED STATES, October 6, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — ShareWell, the online platform for live peer support, today announced a partnership with the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA), the nation’s leading peer-directed organization for people living with mood disorders.
Through the partnership, DBSA will host support communities on ShareWell, where its members can join live video groups led by trained volunteer facilitators. The groups meet online, so members can take part from anywhere without traveling to an in-person meeting.
“ShareWell was built to be the world’s home for peer support, and we’re honored to support one of the most established organizations in mental health,” said CeCe Cheng, founder and CEO of ShareWell. “DBSA’s work proves that people recover faster alongside others who understand. We want to help that work reach further.”
Suzanne Baber, CEO of DBSA, said, “ShareWell’s platform helps participants connect beyond support group meetings by letting them add friends and chat between sessions, and it gives DBSA more opportunities to offer topic-based support groups and creative, educational, and wellness workshops.”
What partnership on ShareWell looks like
DBSA joins a growing partner community including Postpartum Support International (PSI) to run communities on ShareWell. PSI runs its perinatal mental health and grief and loss communities on the platform. Since partnering with ShareWell, PSI has increased the number of support groups it offers by over 8x and the number of members it serves by over 6x.
“ShareWell has made it possible for PSI to expand our reach in ways we couldn’t before,” said Megan Roberts, English Support Groups Program Manager at Postpartum Support International. “We’ve reduced operational stress while dramatically increasing the number of families we serve. The platform is reliable and truly built with peer support in mind. ShareWell allowed us to focus more on supporting group members and less on logistics.”
ShareWell gives mental health organizations the infrastructure to scale live peer-support programming without having to build or manage the underlying technology themselves. DBSA’s communities are open now at sharewellnow.com/partner/dbsa. Groups are free to join.
