Husband-and-wife team, Andrew and Gina Lanzino, become the wellness brand’s first franchisees, marking a landmark moment in Oakwell’s national expansion

LAS VEGAS, Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Oakwell Beer Spa, the Colorado-based social wellness brand known for pairing private spa suites with a craft beer and wine taproom, announces the signing of its first franchise agreement, bringing the Denver-born concept to Las Vegas.

Husband-and-wife team, Andrew and Gina Lanzino, will develop the brand’s debut location outside of Colorado, becoming Oakwell’s first franchisees since the company began offering franchise opportunities earlier this year.

The agreement marks a significant milestone for Oakwell, which has spent the past several years building a devoted following in the Greater Denver area around a first-of-its-kind concept: a hospitality-driven, technology-enabled wellness experience that combines private hydrotherapy and sauna experiences with a social food and beverage component. Designed to reduce reliance on one of the wellness industry’s most persistent operational challenges, licensed service provider staffing, the concept has attracted a broad audience that extends well beyond traditional spa-goers. Oakwell has identified more than 100 target growth markets nationwide as it begins to scale beyond its two corporate locations in Colorado.

“Andrew and Gina are exactly the kind of partners we hoped to find as we opened Oakwell Beer Spa to franchising,” said Jessica Zouaoui, Co-Founder and CEO of Oakwell Beer Spa.” They understand that this business is built on hospitality first, and they bring the strategic discipline and people skills to deliver it. Las Vegas is a market that demands excellence, and we trust them to set the standard for every franchisee who follows.”

A Personal Connection to a City That Never Slows Down

Air Force veteran Andrew Lanzino relocated to Las Vegas in 2004 after completing his military service, where he went on to earn both a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from UNLV. What began as a move for school ultimately became a permanent home after he met his wife, Gina. Today, the couple is raising two children, both born in Las Vegas, making the opportunity feel personal as well as professional.

Prior to Oakwell Beer Spa, Andrew spent more than 20 years as a corporate strategist, most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Strategy & Citywide Events at MGM Resorts International, where he helped bring major events to life, including Super Bowl LVIII, the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix, and New Year’s Eve on the Strip.

“I’ve spent years working on the biggest events this city puts on, and what I’ve learned is that Las Vegas runs at full speed around the clock,” said Andrew Lanzino, Founding Franchisee of Oakwell Beer Spa. “The world is stressful, everyone has packed too much into their schedules, and most people don’t have many places to go that aren’t another bar, restaurant, or gym. We want to give them somewhere to slow down, reconnect, and genuinely relax. That’s what drew us to Oakwell.”

Today, Andrew teaches Strategy & Implementation at UNLV’s Harrah College of Hospitality while pursuing a PhD in Global Tourism & Hospitality. Gina brings experience across sales, marketing, operations, and entrepreneurship and currently serves as Founder and President of 5678 Dance, a Las Vegas nonprofit that supports local dancers.

“Oakwell Beer Spa is the best of both worlds,” said Gina Lanzino, Founding Franchisee of Oakwell Beer Spa. “It’s a place where Andrew and I can spend time relaxing and connecting in an environment that feels designed for both of us. That’s rare, and I think a lot of couples in this city are going to feel the same way.”

From Prague to Las Vegas

Andrew first discovered the concept while visiting a beer spa in Prague during his MBA studies. Over the years, he explored ways to bring the idea to Las Vegas, but it wasn’t until he discovered Oakwell Beer Spa that he found a concept that aligned with his vision.

The connection felt especially fitting because Oakwell’s founders were also inspired by experiences abroad. Before launching the company, Jessica and Damien Zouaoui spent 14 months traveling through 25 countries in search of unique hospitality concepts they could bring to the United States and eventually scale through franchising.

Finding the Right Space

The Lanzinos are now evaluating locations for their first Oakwell Beer Spa, with a particular focus on the Las Vegas Arts District – one of the city’s most dynamic neighborhoods for residents and visitors seeking an authentic Las Vegas experience beyond the Strip.

“As longtime Las Vegas residents, we know that some of the city’s most exciting experiences happen off the Strip,” said Andrew Lanzino. “The Arts District is walkable, full of character, and home to the kind of independently owned businesses that create lasting connections with guests. We can easily envision Oakwell becoming part of that fabric.”

The Bigger Picture

Las Vegas is just the beginning. Since opening its first location in Denver in 2021, Oakwell Beer Spa has expanded to multiple company-owned locations and refined a hospitality-first operating model designed to make wellness experiences more accessible for guests and more scalable for operators. The brand is actively pursuing franchise expansion in markets across the country, including Phoenix, Austin, Atlanta, Detroit, Boston, Kansas City, and Charleston.

“When we started Oakwell, we weren’t just trying to build a spa,” said Damien Zouaoui, Co-Founder and Chief Growth Officer. “We wanted to create a hospitality concept that guests would love and that operators could easily scale. Andrew and Gina embody everything we were looking for in our first franchise partners. They care deeply about their community and share our vision for what Oakwell can become as we expand across the country.”
