WASHINGTON, Sept. 17, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — In celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, The American Cornerstone Institute (ACI) announced its first of its kind Little Patriots Civics Bee. This educational competition gives students nationwide an opportunity to showcase their love of America and knowledge of civics with the chance to win up to $25,000 in prizes.
“The Civics Bee gives young Americans an opportunity to put their knowledge of our history and civic responsibilities into action,” said Dr. Ben Carson, Founder and Chairman of the American Cornerstone Institute. “The future of our nation depends on informed, engaged citizens who are excited about our incredible country and truly understand what it means to be an American. Little Patriots’ Civics Bee is a way for us to reward students who understand they have an important role to play in carrying our legacy forward.”
The Little Patriots Civics Bee offers age-appropriate pathways for students in kindergarten through fifth grade to compete in their own region before moving to the Spring 2027 National Championship in Washington, D.C., where students will participate in a civics showcase and an exciting, live competition. Students across all grade bands will compete for $2,000 prizes and competitors at the national event will have the chance to win an additional $25,000 toward their 529 or Trump Account.
