Foundation seeks corporate sponsors and individual donors to fund a K9 Memorial Wall and interactive touchscreen tribute at the National Law Enforcement Museum.
WASHINGTON DC, DC, UNITED STATES, September 21, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — The National Police Dog Foundation announced today the launch of a fundraising campaign to build a permanent K9 Memorial Wall and interactive touchscreen tribute display at the National Law Enforcement Museum in Washington, DC, honoring the 206+ law enforcement K9s who have died in the line of duty.
The K9 Memorial Wall will open during National Police Week, which begins each May 11th, alongside the Foundation’s National Police K9 Memorial Service. A companion interactive touchscreen kiosk will let visitors search and read every honored K9’s story, updated each year as new K9s are added.
Bringing both to life requires funding the Wall’s construction and installation, along with the custom software and durable touchscreen hardware behind the digital display. The Foundation is asking sponsors and donors to help make this lasting tribute possible.
WHAT YOUR SUPPORT FUNDS
K9 Memorial Wall — design, construction, and installation of a permanent physical memorial at the National Law Enforcement Museum
Touchscreen display — software development and a durable, museum-grade interactive kiosk where visitors can browse each K9’s story
Ongoing maintenance — upkeep of the Wall and hosting, support, and updates for the digital display each year
HOW TO DONATE OR BECOME A SPONSOR
The Foundation offers five sponsorship levels, from $5,000 to $65,000, each recognized on the Wall, the interactive touchscreen display, and in Foundation communications. Individuals and organizations can support the campaign by contacting the Foundation directly for the full sponsorship packet.

Our mission is to honor the K9 heroes who have died in the line of duty, and to bring awareness and raise funds for the purchase, training, and emergency medical care of active and retired law enforcement K9s nationwide. Donations help with (not limited to) the replacement and training of fallen K9s and the Annual National Police K9 Memorial Service.
