London-based Source Me It connects collectors and designers with the largely undigitised antiques market through a private network built over 40 years.

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM, September 29, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Christie’s-trained Edward Coutts Davidson and third-generation antiques dealer Angela Morrison have spent more than 40 years finding extraordinary things in places most people would never think to look. Now, they are bringing that world together with Source Me It, a new private sourcing house for rare and undigitised antiques, art and design. Launched on 1 September 2026 from Old Bond Street in London, Source Me It opens the door to a world of dealers, collectors and private sources where some of the most remarkable pieces never make it online.

Source Me It represents a different model for the antiques, art and design trade. It is neither a marketplace nor a traditional dealership with its own inventory. Instead, a search begins with a brief, which Source Me It takes privately to dealers, collectors, galleries and specialists who may already know where the right piece is.

Today, 65% of antiques remain undigitised. Many of these pieces sit in private collections, dealers’ inventories and storerooms, unseen by the wider market and still waiting for the right home. Source Me It is not looking to change that by putting them online. The search remains private and one-to-one, with pieces sourced specifically for a brief and shown only to the person looking for them, rather than uploaded to a public catalogue or marketplace.

For collectors and designers, this opens the door to a part of the market that would otherwise take years of relationships to reach. For the pieces themselves, it means another chance to be discovered, considered and lived with again.

Coutts Davidson explains:
“I’ve been in this business for over 40 years, and the way you find a great piece hasn’t changed as much as people might think. You still ring someone you’ve known for years, who rings somebody else, who remembers a piece sitting somewhere that has never been photographed, catalogued or put online. That’s how a lot of the antiques world still works.”

Morrison adds:
“Growing up in the antiques trade, you learn very quickly that the real value is often in what people know, what they remember and who they trust. There are wonderful things sitting quietly all over the world. They don’t need to be put on the internet for thousands of people to see. They need to be seen by the right person.”

Based in London, Source Me It takes private briefs from around the world, connecting demand with a supplier network that stretches across international markets. Since launching, the company has begun taking searches across antiques, art and design, bringing a distinctly old-fashioned way of finding things into a business built for a global market.
