Community members can donate a toy, tour the historic airship hangar and help deliver holiday joy across South Florida.

POMPANO BEACH, Fla., Oct. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Whether it’s the daily commute or the drive home for the holidays, Goodyear helps people get where they need to go. This holiday season, Goodyear is helping deliver joy too, once again partnering with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program to invite the South Florida community to the Goodyear Blimp base for its annual toy drive.

The annual tradition invites community members to donate a new, unwrapped toy while enjoying a rare behind-the-scenes look inside the iconic Goodyear Blimp hangar. The event supports the local Toys for Tots campaign and brings together associates, customers and neighbors with a shared goal: helping make the holidays brighter for children and families across South Florida.

Toy drives hosted at Goodyear Blimp bases have collected more than 300,000 toys and raised more than $875,000 for the Marine Toys for Tots Program, helping deliver holiday joy to children and families across the country.

The Florida event will take place on Dec. 6 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Goodyear Airship Base in Pompano Beach. Community members who bring a new, unwrapped toy will have the opportunity to tour the historic airship hangar and get an up-close look at the Goodyear Blimp. Interested attendees can reserve a tour spot here.

“For 16 years, this tradition has brought our communities together around the holidays in a uniquely Goodyear way,” said Joni Fitch, director of community engagement at Goodyear. “Opening our blimp hangars gives us a special opportunity to welcome our neighbors and support Toys for Tots in helping make the holidays brighter for local children and families.”

Founded in 1947, the mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to disadvantaged children in the communities where campaigns are conducted.

Community members who are unable to attend the event in person may also support the effort through mailed toy or monetary donations.
