Kenosha, WI – August 11, 2026 – What began as a single food truck built inside a retired 1993 Spartan Fire Engine has grown into one of Kenosha’s most beloved dining destinations. Cut Stone Wood-Fired Pizza, founded by the Tagliapietra family, whose name literally translates to “Cut Stone” in Italian, continues to expand its presence in the community while staying true to its scratch-made, Neapolitan-style roots.
The business’s mobile unit, affectionately named “Il Marzocco” after the Lion of Florence, still travels to events and venues throughout Kenosha County, with Petrifying Springs Biergarten among its most frequent stops. After outgrowing its original kitchen, Cut Stone relocated to a storefront on 6th Avenue A in Downtown Kenosha, where it built out a cozy indoor dining room offering an expanded menu alongside wine and other beverages. What started as a winter-only, twice-a-week dining schedule has since grown to multiple nights a week year-round, reflecting the continued demand for the brand’s hand-crafted pizzas.
