CMTS leads as Presenting Sponsor alongside Denver International Airport and for August 14 tournament supporting scholarships, youth, and hunger relief

Every student deserves the chance to pursue higher education. Your sponsorship turns that possibility into reality for many.”

DENVER, FL, UNITED STATES, August 11, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — The Epworth Foundation will celebrate its 24th Annual Golf Tournament on Friday, August 14, at CommonGround Golf Course in Aurora, bringing golfers, sponsors, volunteers and community supporters together for a day of competition, philanthropy and community impact.

This year’s tournament features CMTS as Presenting Sponsor, joined by Denver International Airport and JPerry & Associates as sponsors supporting the Foundation’s mission and programs.

Adding even more excitement to the event, the tournament will feature a live auction, and the Presenting Sponsor will receive the opportunity to take a shot for a $1 million prize.

While the tournament offers plenty of action on the course, its purpose extends well beyond golf. Proceeds support The Epworth Foundation’s core areas of impact: scholarships, youth programs, family programs and hunger relief.

Since the inception of its scholarship program, The Epworth Foundation has provided more than $40,000 in scholarships to help disadvantaged students with college tuition and educational expenses.

The Foundation’s impact also reaches families facing food insecurity. Its volunteer-operated food bank serves more than 200 families each month, while its Thanksgiving initiative has distributed more than one million pounds of food over the years to families in need.

Epworth’s youth initiatives include Bessie Coleman Fly Girls and Boys, Talent Camp, work programs and Christmas assistance. Family programs provide parenting and peer-support resources, domestic-violence workshops, advocacy services and assistance to families experiencing crisis.

For Executive Director Xiomara Yanique, the tournament represents an investment in both immediate community needs and future generations.

“Every student deserves the chance to pursue higher education. Your sponsorship turns that possibility into reality for many.”

The Foundation’s broader mission is made possible through the combined support of sponsors, donors, volunteers and community partners who help transform one day on the golf course into year-round impact.
