Thirty-four U-Haul facilities across Indiana are offering one month of free self-storage and U-Box container use to help residents impacted by flooding.

Heavy rainfall and flooding has been reported across much of Indiana as water rises to dangerously high levels in some communities while impacting people’s safety, homes and belongings.

Access to self-storage units and portable storage containers is essential to communities when natural disasters strike.

Jeff Steffani, U-Haul Area District Vice President for Indiana and Michigan, stated his teams are ready to help anyone affected by the flooding who needs a secure storage solution at no cost for one month.

The 30 days free offer applies to new self-storage and U-Box rentals and is based on availability. The U-Box offer is for on-site storage at participating facilities; delivery is available for a modest fee.
