KARACHI, PAKISTAN – September 01, 2026 – PRESSADVANTAGE –
On 24 August 2026, 1Pay.pk, the payment aggregation and technology brand of Setlexor Services (Private) Limited, published a new two-track framework for merchant onboarding and payment integration. The document gives prospective merchants a single structure for recording commercial, compliance and technical dependencies while keeping ownership and launch checks visible.
The framework is intended to address a common planning error in online payment projects: treating access to technical material as confirmation that a merchant can begin processing live transactions. In practice, payment-method availability and production activation can depend on business verification, merchant category, partner requirements, commercial terms and completion of the relevant technical checks.
The first track covers the merchant and its proposed use of the service. The business provides its legal identity, ownership and contact details, describes the products or services it sells, identifies expected transaction activity and supplies the documents required for review under the applicable merchant and payment-partner arrangement.
This workstream also establishes the commercial basis of the relationship. Fees, taxes, settlement expectations, refund handling, dispute responsibilities, prohibited activities and support routes should be documented before launch, with any conditions or dependencies recorded against the party responsible for resolving them.
The second track covers the transaction journey from the merchant’s website, application or payment-link process into the payment service. 1Pay.pk’s merchant payment services include payment gateway connectivity, hosted checkout or payment-link options, application programming interfaces, dashboard access and reporting functions, subject to the merchant’s approved arrangement.
Technical work should confirm how credentials are stored, how an order is identified and how the customer is returned to the merchant after payment. It should also define how the merchant receives transaction-status updates, prevents duplicate fulfilment, records unsuccessful or pending attempts and verifies a final status before releasing goods or services.
“Merchant approval and software integration solve different problems, and a launch depends on both,” said Arshad Syed Muhammad, Founder and CEO of 1Pay.pk. “Making those workstreams visible at the start helps commercial, finance and development teams understand what remains open and who is responsible for closing it.”
Testing under the framework is based on expected merchant journeys rather than a successful-payment screen alone. The merchant should examine approved, declined, cancelled, interrupted and repeated attempts, then confirm that its order records, customer messages and internal alerts remain consistent with the status supplied through the payment arrangement.
Production readiness also requires an operating handover. Finance and support teams need access to the relevant transaction references, reporting view and escalation route, while technical owners need a controlled process for production credentials, configuration changes, monitoring and incident investigation after the service is activated.
The framework covers payment channels made available through 1Pay.pk’s approved aggregation arrangements. 1Pay.pk provides payment aggregation and technology services, while regulated processing, acquiring, wallet and settlement activities are performed by the relevant licensed partners under the applicable merchant and partner arrangements.
The framework does not establish a universal approval or launch period, because requirements vary by business and payment method. Merchants can use the company’s payment team contact page to begin an eligibility and integration discussion, but should plan against confirmed written dependencies rather than an assumed go-live date.
The company said merchants should update the plan whenever a payment method, website flow, reporting requirement or responsible team changes. Production readiness can also need renewed review after changes to credentials, configurations, fulfilment logic or partner conditions.
