BEHKO Expands into Columbia, Partners with Magnus Development on New Lexington County Warehouse Project

The 57,750-square-foot design-build project establishes BEHKO’s presence in the Midlands industrial market

MOUNT PLEASANT, SC, UNITED STATES, September 9, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — BEHKO is expanding its design-build operations into the Columbia market. Magnus Development Partners has selected BEHKO to lead construction of the building and provide structural and MEP design for a new 57,750-square-foot industrial warehouse in Lexington County, South Carolina, marking the next step in a growing relationship between the two South Carolina-based companies.

Magnus is developing the final speculative site within Lexington County Industrial Park bringing the Park build out over 2M+ SF. While Magnus is managing the architectural design, sitework and utilities directly, BEHKO will lead construction of the building from the foundation while providing structural and MEP design, working closely with Magnus, the project architect, and other project partners to coordinate design and construction. Sitework is underway and building construction is set to begin next month.
