A Tampa Bay-based mobile coffee business, Hofi & Haan Collective, has launched a new partnership with New Port Richey FarmNet to transform used coffee grounds into a valuable resource for local agriculture. This initiative focuses on diverting coffee waste from landfills and incorporating it into a sustainable composting program.
Under the new agreement, Hofi & Haan Collective will deliver its used coffee grounds directly to New Port Richey FarmNet. FarmNet will then process these grounds through composting. The enriched compost will subsequently be utilized to improve soil quality for various community gardens and sustainable agriculture projects within the region.
