Firefighters are reporting progress in containing a significant wildfire burning near Reno, Nevada. As of the latest reports, the blaze is 27% contained.
The containment efforts come as evacuation orders impacting thousands of residents have been reduced. However, authorities caution that high winds continue to present a substantial risk, complicating firefighting operations and potentially threatening further spread.
